MORE WORK

In my free time, I love doing graphic design!

Though I focus largely on tech products, I enjoy doing creative explorations in graphic design & illustration as a form of storytelling and way to better appreciate and engage with the world around me! I love experimenting with different mediums like printing and painting to see how my work can exist in non-digital spaces! :)

Palengke: Labor and Visual Culture (2024)

TOOLS: Adobe Photoshop, Indesign

This zine was one of my final projects for a printmaking class! It explores the visual language of Filipino communities by examining the imagery within Palengkes (markets), particularly how they are formed by different culture and socioeconomic factors, and to acknowledge the realities underlying them.

Weather Report (2024)

TOOLS: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Risograph Printing

This print series was inspired by Giorgia Lupi and several other creative data visualization artists. Here, I wanted to explore how we can present the change of weather over time visually through the style of print advertisements. The final posters were then printed through Riso printing techniques!

My Design Philosophy

Designing from insights, not opinions.

I leverage data from user research and market trends to understand user behavior and inform design decisions that optimize the user experience.

Always learning and improving.

I believe the best designs come from a process of continuous refinement. I build prototypes, gather user feedback, and iterate on my designs until they are truly exceptional.

Intersecting functions and aesthetics

While functionality is key, aesthetics matter too. I strive to create interfaces that are visually appealing and engaging, using clean layouts, thoughtful typography, and a cohesive color scheme.
